Orange County 4-H Clubs
Various educational projects are available through 4-H in home economics, crafts, recreation, science, and animal related areas. Joining a club is required for access to these projects. Consult clubs in your area for which projects they offer. There are also various competition, community service, and youth leadership opportunities.

Elementary and Teen Extension Classes

Available classes include Bible, Math, Science, Foreign Languages, Writing & Literature, History, Photography, Music, Art, Physical Education, Home Econimics, and Character Development.

Buildadrum
Get a group together and Stan the drum man will bring all the supplies and equipment to your location to create this memorable experience! Carpentry skills are not needed to build a drum; only the simple desire to explore the “Old Ways” with the conveniences of today.

Spanish School
For kids ages 4 to 11. Taught and developed by an experienced, CA certified Spanish Teacher who is presently a stay-at-home mom who loves kids! Lively whole brain learning experience..learn naturally through song, dance, props, realia, music, etc.. Age appropriate; communicative; culture; art; theme is Quien Soy Yo? Sign Language
No time to take classes? Certified Sign Language Tutor/ Interpreter will tutor on location in the Orange County area at your convenience. Great for families who desire direct communication with toddlers, Deaf family members and friends. Specializing in various levels of A.S.L usage, child lingustics related to S.E.E sign and/or A.S.L ,including one on one lesson plans. Ages 2 and up. Inquire about special packages and rates. Ride Your Horse!
Therapeutic riding and horsemanship skills to ages 3 to adult and to all abilities. Children and adults experience a unique opportunity to participate in a equine assisted activities program that capitalizes on self-growth through the partnership of a loving horse. Offering activities to persons with disabilities such as Autism, ADD, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Spinal Bifida, Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Rhetts Syndrome, Social, Emotional and Behavioral Disorders. Providing self-growth through physical, cognitive, social, emotional and educational benefits. Ride Your Horse! Therapeutic Riding Program serves several Orange County Coastal communities. Ride Your Horse! also provides volunteer opportunities for Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops and for high school students to obtain community service hours. Volunteers must be at least 12 years old. Volunteers are trained on basic horsemanship skills, knowledge of disabilities and the powerful benefits of therapeutic riding.
