Why We Recommend Group Lessons for Young Beginners
Listening
Playing music in a group helps students learn to listen and stay together with the group.
Rhythm
Working in a group helps students strengthen rhythm skills.
Solfege
When we sing the solfege (do, re, mi) syllables while reading notes or playing the keyboard, we develop a strong sense of tonality and relative pitch.
Reading
Reading music is a separate activity from performing on the keyboard, and includes using tools such as music flash cards and “secret” ways of learning the notes that make it fun and easy.
Performing
Students perform every piece by memory in front of the class, thus preparing to perform in the recitals at an early age.

Private Piano Teacher in Anaheim Hills
Private Piano Teacher in Anaheim Hills
Michelle Mangigian
Give your child the gift of music! I am a private piano teacher in Anaheim Hills and have taught kids from age 4 all the way up through college years. I have the experience of teaching for over 10 years. Reading music is the main objective along with piano theory and technique. Trophies and certificates are given upon completion of each level and recitals are held a couple times a year. Once the basics are mastered I like to give my students opportunities to learn the types of music they are interested in. My cell phone number is 714-315-5393.

This nonprofit organization, founded by parents passionate about musical training and education, is dedicated to serving the home school community and those who do not have access to a band or orchestra program in their traditional school. OCMA’s objectives and goals include giving children a well-rounded musical ensemble experience while performing in their community, church, and youth activities. The ultimate “teamwork” activity, performing in a band requires a shared commitment to practicing individually at home, working together in rehearsal and supporting each other spiritually, mentally and emotionally. Three band levels, from beginning to advanced, as well as specialized musical ensembles. Please consider visiting a rehearsal to see what our bands are doing and working to achieve. Below is a listing of music teachers.
