The Brea Olinda Unified School District opened their home schooling program in 2010 to give families the opportunity to educate their children K – 6 and 9 – 12. In 2011, BOUSD will open its program up to all students K-12 to expand educational choices and options available for your child’s public school education. We call our program Brea Olinda Home Education Program or BOHEP. BOHEP provides families with the appropriate state adopted curriculum and materials necessary to aid in the instructional process. In addition, a credentialed teacher partners with parent teachers offering regular meeting opportunities for guidance and support. Our legally compliant program supplies student and teacher edition state adopted materials, grade level support, enrichment, remediation, support of a fully credentialed teacher, regular communication, campus access, opportunities to display and present student work, a family friendly environment, flexibility, and benchmark and standardized testing. Community Home Education Program (CHEP) is a county community school serving home-schooled students in grades K-12 through contracted learning. Students who participate in home schooling have chosen to coordinate their educational plan with a credentialed teacher and implement the curriculum in the home environment. Assistance and resource materials are provided which enable guardians to succeed in meeting the individual academic needs of the children.
Irvine Home School Program
Through the Irvine Unified School District
Irvine Home School is an alternative educational option of the Irvine Unified School District for parents who choose to home school their children. Irvine Home School is built around an independent study model. Irvine Home School certificated staff provides weekly student workshops, field trips, and student travel, educational activities, curriculum, instructional support, standardized testing (grades 2-8), and documentation for students’ permanent records. 949-936-7477

Capistrano Home Outreach Option for Student Education is the kindergarten through eighth grade independent study program for the Capistrano Unified School District. When a student is enrolled in CHOOSE Home School, the home educator is provided with all textbooks, workbooks and teacher’s editions necessary for home education. The home educator is also given a curriculum guide, which maps out the course of study for every subject each school month. This curriculum guide is flexible, based upon the needs of the student.

Parkview is an innovative school in the award winning Placentia Yorba Linda Unified School District. They offer personalized learning matched to each child’s learning style. Families receive all textbooks (including Teacher’s Editions), individualized lesson plans and the guidance of a credentialed teacher free of charge. They have a state of the art video production lab; performing arts, history classes, art clubs, leadership and student council, community service opportunities, hands-on, minds-on science.
