Courses are offered at the learning level of each student from basic skills to college prepatory. Many students and parents have found OFL a rewarding alternative to the traditional school setting. The parent-teacher works with a credentialed teacher (the Education Specialist) to develop an individualized learning plan to meet the student’s needs, interests and abilities. The parent/guardian takes the role of the primary educator for their child with the support of the Education Specialist. Students and parents will then meet monthly for a Learning Record meeting to turn in the necessary records and discuss their progress for the past month.
